100-Foot Hanuman Statue Unveiled in America
A 100-foot tall Hanuman statue has been installed in the United States under the name “Statue of Union (SOU).”
The grand unveiling ceremony took place on Sunday at the Ashtalakshmi Temple premises in the city limits of Houston, Texas.
To highlight Indian culture and traditions, special prayers were conducted over four days. Chinna Jeeyar Swami attended as the chief guest.
A large number of devotees gathered for the event. The temple premises resonated with the chanting of “Jai Veera Hanuman” during the occasion.
A highlight of the event was the showering of flowers on the massive statue from a helicopter.
