45 Year Old Farmer Heart Gets 21 Km Ride on Hyderabad Metro For Patient in Need
For the first time in the Hyderabad Metro history, a Heart is moved from LB Nagar’s Kamineni Hospital to Jubilee Hills Check Post via Hyderabad Metro.
The Heart is being moved in the Metro from Nagole to Jubilee Hills check post.
The family members agreed to donate the Heart of a 45-year-old farmer from Nalgonda district, who was found brain dead.
The Heart has been rushed to Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital for heart transplant surgery.
Dr Gokule has decided to lead the surgery.
The Metro train has carried the Heart non-stop to Jubilee Hills check post.
It was a journey of 28 minutes.
From Jubilee Hills Check post to Apollo Hospitals, the Heart is moved by a green corridor.
It hardly took 2 minutes on road.
Metro officials have made all the arrangements after receiving advance notice in this regard.
