Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ukraine, where he toured various parts of the capital city, Kyiv, alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Together, they paid tribute at a memorial dedicated to the Ukrainian citizens who lost their lives in the Russian attacks.
During his visit, Modi embraced Zelensky warmly, expressing his sympathy as they viewed a photo exhibition depicting the devastation caused by the war.
In a gesture of support, Modi placed a comforting hand on Zelensky’s shoulder, attempting to convey reassurance. Modi also tweeted about the visit.
He remarked that the war has been catastrophic for children and shared that his heart breaks when thinking about the families of the children who have lost their lives.
Modi expressed his hope that these families find the courage to overcome this immense suffering.
