Anchor Syamala Joins Active Politics as YSRCP Spokesperson

Anchor Syamala has been appointed as the official state spokesperson for the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Along with Syamala, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Jupudi Prabhakar, and RK Roja have also been given the same position.

Syamala had campaigned for YSRCP in the recent elections, and now, with her new role as an official spokesperson, she is formally entering active politics.

After the recent general election defeat and the exit of several key leaders, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan has been focusing on strengthening the party.

As part of this effort, he has been assigning significant responsibilities to former MLAs and ministers within the party.

Recently, new district presidents were also appointed, and constituency in-charges were reassigned.

In this context, four new official spokespersons have been appointed for the party. Among them are former minister RK Roja, former MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, and Jupudi Prabhakar Rao. Syamala’s inclusion in this list has garnered particular attention.

It is well-known that Syamala campaigned for YSRCP during the recent elections. She notably criticized Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan during a speech in Pithapuram, which led to significant trolling by Jana Sena and TDP social media activists.

Although she was actively participating in party events, she previously held no official position within the party.

Now, with her appointment as an official spokesperson, anchor Syamala has formally entered the political arena.
