Nitin Chauhan Death: ‘Crime Patrol’ Actor Passes Away at 35
Prominent television actor Nitin Chauhan, known for his roles in shows such as ‘Splitsvilla 5’, ‘Zindagi Dot Com’, ‘Crime Patrol’, and ‘Friends’, has passed away at the age of 35.
His death has shocked many, with no official confirmation yet regarding the cause of death. As of now, neither his family nor the police have released any statement.
However, a former co-star reportedly shared that Nitin may have taken his own life, leaving his admirers deeply saddened by the news.
Nitin Chauhan, a native of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, breathed his last at the age of 35. The actor rose to fame after winning ‘Dadagiri 2’ and went on to feature in popular shows like MTV’s ‘Splitsvilla 5’, ‘Zindagi Dot Com’, ‘Crime Patrol’, and ‘Friends’.
He was last seen on screen in 2022 on SAB TV’s daily soap ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’.
Some of Nitin’s co-actors, including Sudip Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh, confirmed his death, prompting speculation among fans that it might have been a suicide.
Vibhooti Thakur shared a picture with the late actor and wrote, “Rest in peace, my dear. I am truly shocked and saddened. I wish you had the strength to face all your troubles. I wish you were as mentally strong as you were physically.” Actor Sudip Sahir also paid tribute to his co-actor on Instagram, saying, “Rest in peace, friend.”
Nitin Chauhan, originally from Aligarh, had been living in Mumbai for several years. He passed away on Thursday, November 7, and his family was informed and later traveled to Mumbai to take his body back to Aligarh.
Nitin gained significant popularity from ‘Splitsvilla 5’ and later appeared in shows like ‘Crime Patrol’, ‘Gumraah’, ‘Friends: Condition Apply’, and ‘Savdhaan India’. Sadly, he passed away just days before his 36th birthday, a truly tragic loss.
