Nara Ramamurthy Naidu: Chandrababu’s Brother Passes Away

Nara Ramamurthy Naidu, brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, has passed away. He breathed his last at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, while undergoing treatment.

This morning, he suffered a cardiac arrest. Doctors at the hospital announced that he passed away at 12:45 PM. Ramamurthy Naidu, aged 72, had been admitted to the hospital on the 14th of this month due to heart-related issues.

Nara Lokesh, Purandeswari, and other members of the Nara and Nandamuri families have already reached the hospital. Chandrababu Naidu, who was on a visit to Delhi, is expected to arrive in Hyderabad shortly.

Family members have stated that the funeral will be held tomorrow in his native village, Naravaripalle.

Ramamurthy Naidu was elected as an MLA from Chandragiri constituency on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1994 and served as an MLA until 1999.

He is survived by his wife, Indira, and sons, Nara Rohit and Girish. Nara Rohit is a well-known film actor.
