Relief for YS Jagan as Courts Allow London Visit, Passport Issuance

YS Jagan Gets Court Approval for London Trip

In a significant development, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been granted permission by the CBI court to travel abroad.

The court approved his request to visit London from January 11 to January 30. It is well known that Jagan’s daughters are studying in London, and he sought permission to attend his daughter’s graduation ceremony. Responding positively to his plea, the court allowed him a 20-day visit to London.

Meanwhile, in another relief for Jagan, the High Court has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for obtaining a passport. The court directed the relevant authorities to issue him a passport with a five-year validity period.

This decision came after the High Court overturned the order issued by the Vijayawada Special Court for Public Representatives, which had earlier rejected Jagan’s petition seeking the NOC.
