1- Six TRS candidates were elected to the Telangana Legislative Council
Former deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari, former Telangana Legislative Council chairman G. Sukhender Reddy, and Rajya Sabha member Banda Prakash were all elected unopposed to the Telangana Legislative Council on Monday under the MLAs quota.
P. Venkatarami Reddy, the Siddipet district collector who resigned on November 15, was elected to the upper house. P. Kaushik Reddy was elected to the Council after leaving the Congress four months earlier to join the TRS. The TRS secretary, T. Ravinder Rao, was also elected to the upper house.

2- KTR criticises BJP leaders for labelling CM KCR a traitor.
K.T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president, has slammed state BJP leaders for calling Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao a “traitor” for providing financial aid to the relatives of farmers killed during a demonstration against three farm laws.

3- Telangana Chief Minister KCR has demanded that the Centre clarify river water sharing.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has asked the Centre to decide on Telangana’s share of the waters of the Krishna and Godavari rivers.
CM KCR remarked during a news conference that the Center failed to allocate water between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and that the shares should be settled quickly.
He further added that he met with Union Jal Shakti Ministry and that they will meet again. CM KCR has threatened that if the Centre fails to resolve the water share dispute, they will strike back.
According to CM KCR, he proposed that PM Modi establish a minimum margin price for crops to aid farmers.

4- KTR assists two students who were injured in a vehicle accident in Hyderabad.
Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has offered assistance to two students who were critically injured in a car accident in Hakimpet on Wednesday.
Two students identified as Miyapur natives were involved in a vehicle accident, according to sources.
Minister KTR, who was approaching from the opposite direction, allegedly observed the injured people and stopped the caravan.
Later, he exited the car and drove the injured people to a local hospital in his escort vehicle for treatment. Pictures of KTR assisting pupils have gone popular on social media and have been praised by netizens.

5- Chief Minister KCR sends a letter to Prime Minister Modi
Because paddy procurement has become a big political issue in Telangana,
State Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding that the Centre set a target for rice procurement from Telangana during the upcoming Rabi season.
CM KCR urged that the Government of India direct FCI to complete the acquisition of the remaining 5.00 LMTs of rice produced in Rabi 2020-21, as well as to increase the rice procurement goal above 40.00 LMTs during the ongoing Kharif 2020-21.
CM KCR has asked the central government to clarify the purpose of Telangana’s rice acquisition for the upcoming Rabi season.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister KCR has called a Maha dharna on November 18 to protest the Modi administration’s buying of grain from the state.
