Deep Sidhu, actor-activist dies: FIR Filed Against Truck Driver For ‘rash & Negligent Driving’-2022
Deep Sidhu, a Punjabi actor and activist who rose to prominence following the Red Fort violence during a farmers’ march on Republic Day last year, was killed in a car accident on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) national highway Sonepat on Tuesday night.
Sidhu was killed after his car collided with the rear of a truck, according to Virender Singh, DSP, law and order, Sonepat.
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said in a tweet hours after Sidhu’s death, “Deeply heartbroken to read about the terrible loss of famous actor and social activist,
#DeepSidhu.” “My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family and fans.”
