7-The first MH-60R “Romeo” helicopters for the Indian Navy arrive in that country equipped with Hellfire missiles

In order to improve its overall combat capabilities, the Indian Navy on Thursday received two of the 24 MH-60R “Romeo” multi-mission helicopters from the US.

Hellfire missiles and deadly rocket systems would be mounted on each of the 24 all-weather helicopters, according to PTI.

Two helicopters were transported to the Cochin airport, according to Indian Navy authorities, and a third is expected there next month.

In 2021, the US received the first three MH 60R “Romeo” helicopters, which are now being used to educate the crew of the Indian Navy.

9-India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, is handed over to the Navy under a threat from China.
