Anshul Kambhoj: Rare Achievement in Indian Cricket… Here’s the Video!
The importance of a century scored by batsmen in cricket matches is well known, but a five-wicket haul by a bowler is held in equal regard.
When a bowler takes all 10 wickets in an innings, it is undoubtedly a remarkable feat. This exceptional accomplishment was recently achieved in India’s domestic cricket tournament, the Ranji Trophy.
Haryana pacer Anshul Kambhoj, while playing against Kerala, claimed all 10 wickets, conceding just 49 runs. With this, he became the third bowler in Ranji Trophy history to take 10 wickets in an innings.
Before Anshul Kambhoj, in 1956, Bengal bowler Premangsu Chatterjee took 10 wickets for 20 runs.
Later, in a 1985 match between Rajasthan and Vidarbha, Pradeep Sundaram took 10 wickets while giving away 78 runs.
