Aviation international news- After 2 years, India to resume regular International flights from today

India will restart regular international flights today, after a two-year hiatus.

According to a regulation issued by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation, regular foreign flights will resume on Sunday, nearly two years after the epidemic began.

Beginning in March 2020, the government has imposed a two-year ban on overseas flights.

Scheduled Foreign Carriers have filed their international schedule for approval, according to the most recent directive.

From March 27, 2022 until October 29, 2022, the Summer Schedule 2022 is in effect. Beginning on Sunday, all international flights will operate at full capacity.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is no longer required for cabin crew members, and airport security officials can undertake pat-down inspections of passengers as needed.

Adapting to a globe ravaged by the pandemic, the aviation sector in the country and throughout the world has faced a number of challenges, with new strains leading to the reappearance of Covid instances many times in the preceding two years.
