Another sad news has struck the Telugu cinema industry: character actor and writer Uttej’s wife Padmavathi has died of cancer.
She died early Monday morning.
A few years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer.
Her health had recently worsened, therefore she was taken to the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute.
She passed away in the hospital while receiving treatment. She was 46 years old.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, Prakash Raj, Brahmaji, Jeevitha, and other Tollywood stars rushed to Uttej’s home after learning of Padma’s death.

Uttej is in a state of shock as a result of his wife’s death.
Several artists, technicians, directors, and producers have shown their sympathy to the grieving family.

Padmavathi, along with her husband, engaged in social and charitable initiatives in addition to overseeing Uttej’s work.
Padmavathi used to be the director of Uttej’s Mayukha Talkies Film Acting School.
She aided many young artists in establishing their careers in the business.
She has always been socially conscious, participating in events such as blood donation drives with her spouse.
The funeral rituals were performed at Mahaprasthanam in Hyderabad.
