Gavaskar Border Trophy-Australia Dominates as India Trails by 191 Runs in First Innings
In the 4th and final Test match between India and Australia in Ahmedabad, India ended Day 3 at 289 for 3 in their first innings. After resuming their innings at 36 for no loss in the morning, India added 253 runs today, with Shubhman Gill being the top scorer at 128 runs. Virat Kohli was unbeaten with 59 runs and Ravindra Jadeja with 16 not out at the crease. India is now trailing by 191 runs.
On the second day of the match, Australia were all out for 480, with Usman Khwaja scoring 180 runs and Cameron Green scoring 114 runs. India’s Ravichandran Ashwin took 6 wickets.
India has already retained the Gavaskar Border Trophy after winning the first two Tests of the four-match series.
