The Tokyo 2020 Olympics were officially proclaimed open in a heartwarming event that concluded with Japanese tennis sensation Naomi Osaka lighting the Olympic cauldron as the last torchbearer.
Team India was headed by Indian boxer Mary Kom and men’s hockey captain Manpreet Singh in the Parade of Nations.
