Largest consignment of Russia’s Covid vaccine Sputnik V lands in Hyderabad-India Russia News
On June 1, a shipment of three million doses of Russia’s Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V arrived in Hyderabad.
The shipment came in India aboard a specially chartered freighter RU-9450, which landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
The consignment contains 56.6 tonnes of vaccinations, according to GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo.
The Sputnik V vaccination must be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.
Dr. Reddy’s laboratory received DCGI clearance for the vaccine’s limited emergency usage.
Dr. Reddy’s has agreed to sell the first 250 million vials of Sputnik V in India in collaboration with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
