Jagan Mohan Reddy Criticizes TDP, Outlines YSRCP Strategy for Strengthening Booth-Level Committees
YSRCP chief and the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting with YSRCP leaders from Nellore district yesterday in Tadepalli. During the meeting, he made significant remarks about the current political situation in the state.
Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized the governance during the tenure of N. Chandrababu Naidu, stating that due to the misrule, the current situation demands that YSRCP leaders stand by the people. He remarked that during YSRCP’s governance, all welfare schemes were delivered directly to the doorstep of citizens, but now people are compelled to approach TDP leaders for assistance.
In light of the changing political scenario, Jagan Mohan Reddy urged party leaders to stand firmly by the public and emphasized their responsibility to support them. He announced that he too would soon go on district tours. Starting from the end of January or early February, he plans to spend three days a week in different parliamentary constituencies. Each day, he will meet with workers from two assembly constituencies, aiming to strengthen grassroots-level connections.
He further instructed the leaders to reinforce party committees from the booth level upwards and to use social media effectively. Highlighting the importance of digital outreach, Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that they are not only fighting Chandrababu but also combating biased media narratives. He urged every party member to recognize the growing significance of social media and actively engage in it.
