Jeevanji Deepti’s Perseverance Shines Bright at Hyderabad Ceremony

Jeevanji Deepti, who won a bronze medal in the T20 category of the 400-meter race at the Paralympics, was honored in Hyderabad on Monday. A felicitation event was organized by the Gopichand Badminton Academy to celebrate her remarkable achievement. Megastar Chiranjeevi, who attended the event as the chief guest, praised Deepti for her talent and recognized the importance of her accomplishment.

Chiranjeevi applauded the recognition Deepti received for her dedication and hard work. The event also witnessed the presence of national badminton coach Pullela Gopichand, Telangana Badminton Association Vice President Chamundeshwarinath, and other dignitaries.

Deepti hails from Kalleda village in Parvathagiri Mandal, Warangal district. Born to Yadagiri and Lakshmi, she comes from a financially challenged family. Despite facing mental and intellectual challenges in her childhood, Deepti’s parents noticed her passion for sports and encouraged her pursuits.

At one point, her father Yadagiri sold their one-acre farmland to support her ambitions. Deepti’s dedication paid off as she emerged as an outstanding athlete, eventually bringing glory to her birthplace and state by winning a bronze medal at the Paralympics.
