Lata Mangeshkar Passes Away-2022

Lata Mangeskar has passed away today in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. She was 92.

Called the Nightingale of India, Lata was admitted to the hospital in January month with Covid-19 complications and pneumonia.

On January 8, the legendary singer was taken to intensive care unit.

Though she recovered from Covid, the singer was put on ventilator support after her condition deteriorated on Saturday.

She was the daughter of Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar and Shevanti Mangeshkar,

Lata was born on September 28, 1929 in Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Lata began her career at the early age of 13.

In memory of the great singer, two-day national mourning will be observed in India.
