1-Before Prime Minister Modi’s inauguration, stones were thrown at the Vande Bharat train in Andhra

A carriage on another Vande Bharat Express train was damaged when stones were thrown at it in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The attack happened just a few days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s January 19 inauguration.

The event took place as the train left the Visakhapatnam railway station towards the coach maintenance facility at Marripalem following a trial run.

On one of the carriages, the incident broke two glass panes.

The harmed carriages are being repaired, the divisional railroad manager stated.

The Railway Protection Force has opened an investigation and filed a case.

2-W.H.O. issues a warning against the use of Indian cough syrups after Uzbek deaths were connected to them

The World Health Organization has advised against using two cough syrups produced by the Noida-based Marion Biotech.

This came about after it was discovered that they were responsible for the deaths of 19 kids in Uzbekistan.

The WHO declared the cough syrup to be “substandard medical products” created by Marion Biotech and products that fail to fulfil quality criteria on Wednesday in a medical product alert.

This comes after the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization’s findings prompted Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to cease the production of all medications at the plant.

A report of “contamination” in one of the cough syrups was discovered by the CDSCO investigation.
