1-Assault boats are being stationed in Pangong Tso by the Indian Army amid a standoff with China in Ladakh
In order to maintain a rigorous watch on the Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh, the Indian Army is deploying its brand-new vessel, the Landing Craft Assault (LCA), which is outfitted with cutting-edge surveillance technology and other tools.
The 13,900-foot-high, 134-km-long lake is regarded as strategically important.
Around two thirds of the lake is under Chinese control. To bolster its current fleets of vessels, the Army had ordered 12 LCA boats the previous year.
