1-Watch: A Punjabi farmer relocates his Rs 1.5 Crore home
To allow for the construction of an expressway, a farmer from Sangrur in Punjab is moving his two-story home 500 feet away from its current location.
According to officials, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi’s house, which was constructed on his land in Roshanwala village in Sangrur, was blocking the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, which will travel through Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir.
