During a test run between Ahmedabad and Mumbai, India’s semi-high-speed train, the “Vande Bharat” express, broke the record of the bullet train.

In just 52 seconds, the third Vande Bharat train reached a speed of 100 km/h.

The train has finished its test run and received all necessary approvals to start operating for pay.

On September 30 in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to signal the departure of the train.
