Eight months ago, health influencer Revant Himatsingka expressed concerns about the added sugar content of Cadbury’s Bournvita chocolate “health” drink. In response, the company significantly reduced the amount of added sugar.

The drink’s most recent packaging shows a 14.4% drop in added sugar, bringing the total sugar level down to 32.2 grams per 100 grams of powder, from the previous 37.4 grams.

This adjustment comes after social media activist and health influencer Revant Himatsingka, commonly known as Food Pharmer, voiced concerns about the excessive sugar content.

Himatsingka celebrated the encouraging development as a “Big Win” for customers who are health-conscious by posting it on Instagram in an Instagram reel.
