A day after FIFA suspended India’s top football organisation for “undue influence from third parties” and declared that the U-17 Women’s World Cup “cannot currently be hosted in India as planned,” the top court heard the case.
Tushar Mehta, the Centre’s solicitor general, claimed that once FIFA suspended the AIFF, the government had previously spoken with them.
