After the state government reduced Sidhu Moose Wala’s security cover, he was shot and killed the next day.
The attack also hurt his cousin and a friend who were riding in a jeep with him.

8 – The Modi government bans 7 Indian and 1 Pakistani YouTube channel for having anti-Indian content.
Eight Youtube channels have been blocked by the Modi administration for “promoting fake news” as part of its crackdown on anti-Indian elements.
Seven of those prohibited channels are from India, and one is a Pakistan-based Youtube channel.
The prohibited channels had a combined audience of more than 114 crore people and more than 85 lakh subscribers.
The I&B Ministry has directed the blocking of two August 16-dated Facebook postings and one Facebook account in addition to the Youtube channels.
