Ram Charan Keeps His Word to A.R. Rahman!
Currently, actor Ram Charan is busy with the promotional work for his film Game Changer. Alongside this, Charan is also preparing for the shooting of his next film, which will begin on the 22nd of this month in Mysore.
This upcoming project is directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, with renowned music director A.R. Rahman composing the music for the film.
To fulfill a promise made to A.R. Rahman, Ram Charan visited the Kadapa Dargah on Monday.
He attended the 80th National Mushaira Ghazal event held at the dargah. Rahman visits this dargah annually without fail.
This year, Rahman had promised the dargah’s community that he would bring Ram Charan as a guest to the event.
Despite a tight schedule and observing the Ayyappa Swamy Deeksha, Charan honored the invitation and participated as the chief guest of the program.
Director Buchi Babu Sana also accompanied him to the dargah. Speaking on this occasion, Ram Charan said, “A.R. Rahman informed me about this event three months ago. I promised him that I would come, and even though I am in the midst of Ayyappa Deeksha, I have kept my word today by being here.
I have a deep connection with the Kadapa Dargah. This place holds immense significance for me.
Before the release of one of the most pivotal films in my career, Magadheera, I visited this dargah. The film went on to become a massive success and a turning point in my career. Returning here today gives me great joy.”
