Ravindra Jadeja Joins BJP: Rivaba Jadeja Shares the News

Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as shared by his wife, Rivaba Jadeja, through a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Rivaba Jadeja is already a BJP MLA from Gujarat.

She posted a picture of her husband’s membership card. Rivaba joined the BJP in 2019, and later in the 2022 Assembly elections, she won as an MLA from the Jamnagar North constituency in Gujarat.

Ravindra Jadeja announced his retirement from T20 International cricket on June 29, a day after India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament held in Barbados.

The BJP’s nationwide membership drive was launched by the party’s national president, J.P. Nadda, on September 2 in Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi renewed his primary membership by being the first to sign up for the program.
