The Indian cricket team has arrived in Pune for the second Test match. After finishing a practice session, Rohit Sharma was heading back to the dressing room when a young woman asked him for an autograph.
While giving the autograph, the woman mentioned that she was a huge fan of Virat Kohli and requested Rohit to convey this message to Kohli.
Rohit responded with, “I will definitely tell him,” before leaving. A video of this interaction between Rohit and the female fan has since gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, India is set to play a strong squad against New Zealand in the second Test, which will begin in Pune on Thursday.
Assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate confirmed that Shubman Gill, who missed the first Test due to a neck injury, is now fit to play, and Rishabh Pant has also fully recovered.
However, there is uncertainty over KL Rahul’s spot in the team due to his poor form. Sarfaraz Khan, who replaced Gill in the first Test and scored a brilliant century, may retain his place, leaving Rahul’s inclusion in doubt.
