The Sardar trailer debut took place on Oct 14th, Friday in Chennai.
The trailer gives the impression that the film is a thrilling, racy thriller.
Karthi portrays two characters in the trailer: Vijay Prakash, a publicity-seeking cop, and Sardar, a spy.
The latter character is introduced in the trailer as a master of disguises. Chunky Panday, Raashi Khanna, Laila, and Rajisha Vijayan all play important roles in the film.
The PS Mithran-directed film Sardar will be made available during Deepavali. The recently censored U/A version of the film will be released on October 21.
