Tokyo 2020: Wrestler Bajrang Punia Wins Bronze-India In Olympics Former Asian Games gold winner Bajrang Punia dominated the men’s 65kg bronze medal fight from start to finish, winning 8-0.  He beat Kazakhstan’s Daulet Niyazbekov to win India’s sixth Olympic gold in Tokyo. Despite sustaining a knee injury in the semi-finals, Bajrang won the match.  Balwan Singh, his father, has expressed his joy at his son’s gold victory.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Bajrang Punia on his success.  “You have made every Indian proud and happy,” he said, praising him.
