Dilip Kumar Laid To Rest With Full State Honours At Juhu Qabrastan Mumbai The renowned actor Dilip Kumar was put to rest with full state honours.  He was laid to rest quietly at Santacruz Kabrastan today.  Earlier, Dilip Kumar’s dead remains came in an ambulance at the Santacruz Kabristan, wrapped in the national tricolour. Film Legend Dilip Kumar Dies At 98 Bollywood icon Dilip Kumar has died at the age of 98 at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital.  He was 98 years old.  Dilip Kumar was sent to the hospital last Wednesday after complaining of shortness of breath; it was the second time he had been admitted in the same month. His wife, famous actress Saira Banu, survives him.  He was known as the ‘Tragedy King,’ and he dominated the silver screen for almost six decades.  Some of the actor’s successful films are Mughal-E-Azam, Kranthi, Devdas, Karma, Naya Daur, Ganga Jumna, Ram aur Shyam.  He received the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, as well as the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
