Director Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya marries Rohit Aishwarya Shankar, director Shankar’s daughter, wedded cricketer Rohit Damodaren in a customary wedding ceremony on June 27, Sunday. On social media, pictures and videos from the event are being shared. Shankar’s eldest daughter, Aishwarya, is a doctor, while Rohit, who plays for the Madurai Panthers in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, is the son of businessman Damodaren. Only close relatives and friends were invited to the occasion. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, was one of the guests at the nuptials in Chennai. In the near future, Shankar will continue work on the Hindi version of his own Tamil hit, Anniyan. Ranveer Singh has been cast in the adaptation.
