The unfortunate incident that happened in the Indian-2 sets that took three lives shook the entire Indian film Industry. Going by the tweets, director Shankar, Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, stylist Amritha Ram, and Seema Tabassum had a narrow escape from this accident as they were only a few meters away from the crash site. Now, this upcoming big budget and much-awaited movie Indian 2 is currently kept on hold. The case has been registered on the day this accident took place and later it was transferred to Central Crime Branch. The summons was sent to Kamal Haasan and director Shankar. Director Shankar was reportedly quizzed by the CBI officials for more than 2 hours at their office in Vepery, Chennai, last evening. However, no details of the questions that were asked to director Shankar were released. Shankar and CBI officials are tightlipped about the investigation.
On the other side, Kamal Haasan said that the production house Lyca should provide the best medical help to those who were injured in the accident and provide the financial and emotional support to the families who were affected.
Kamal Haasan and producer Subaskaran announced Rs 1 crore each and Rs 2 crore respectively to the family of the deceased. Helmer Shankar hasn’t announced any sort of financial help to date.
