PM Modi lay the foundation stone for the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor on March 8, 2019.
It covers an area of 5 lakh square feet. To provide devotees with a variety of facilities, up to 23 additional structures were built.
The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham project will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi stated that the initiative will add to the spiritual vibrancy of Kashi.
The plan is to build a 20-25 foot wide corridor from Varanasi’s Lalita Ghat to the temple’s Mandir Chowk, allowing at least two lakh people to be present at any given moment.
