Case Filed Against Actress Sri Reddy in Andhra Pradesh
The East Godavari district police have registered a case against actress Sri Reddy. The case was filed following a complaint that she posted objectionable videos on social media targeting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his family.
The complaint was lodged by Majji Padmavati, the State Women’s Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from Morampudi, at the Bommuru Police Station in Rajahmundry rural area.
The complaint alleges that Sri Reddy’s videos not only targeted Chandrababu Naidu and his family but also defamed Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita.
In a related development, Sanga Tejaswini, a state representative of the Telugu Women’s Wing from Anantapur city, filed a separate complaint against Sri Reddy on Wednesday with CI Sainath at the Fourth Town Police Station.
Additionally, another complaint has been registered at the Kancharapalem Police Station in Visakhapatnam.
