Men’s ODI WC: Travis Head became the third Australian batsman to hit century in the finale.

Travis Head has just become the third Aussie bat to register a ton in a Male’s ODI WC final. It happened in a summit match of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup, versus India played at Narendra Modi stadium.

He follows Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting as the third legends of Australian Cricket.

He made his century off 94 deliveries suggesting it was good stuff.

The first Australian to score a century in the world cup final was Ricky Ponting in 2003 when Australia defeated India.

For instance, in 2007, he managed to score an impressive 149 runs against Sri Lanka in the finals.
