Items in passengers’ hands, luggage from overhead compartments, and food items being served by the air hostesses were scattered everywhere.

When the turbulence struck unexpectedly, many passengers feared for their lives, thinking they were facing a catastrophic situation.

This harrowing experience was faced by passengers traveling from Sweden to Florida. Currently, a video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

According to details provided by the passengers and airline staff, the Scandinavian Airlines flight departed from Stockholm, Sweden, for Miami, Florida, on Thursday afternoon.

The flight was scheduled to land in Miami at 5:45 PM. However, midway through the journey, severe air turbulence caused significant disturbances.

Alerted by the situation, the pilot promptly decided to turn the flight back and landed safely in Stockholm.

The passengers were provided overnight accommodations and were sent to Miami on another flight the next morning.
