In his time away from professional cricket, former India skipper MS Dhoni seems to be trying his hands at everything that interests him. From serving the Indian Army to serving pani puri to his teammates and learning organic farming, Dhoni was seen making the most of his time before getting back to the cricketing field in the Indian Premier League.
In a recent video, MS Dhoni was seen driving a pitch roller machine at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, which is his home ground. The video of Dhoni trying his hands at rolling the pitch was shared on social media. Another video of the World Cup-winning wicketkeeper-batsman trying out organic farming has also gone viral.

MS Dhoni is said to start training for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) from March 2. The 13th edition of IPL begins with the epic clash between CSK and defending champions Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on March 29.
According to CSK CEO K S Viswanathan, Dhoni will be training with players who are available as the full preparatory camp of the team begins on March 19.
Former India captain Dhoni is expected to practice for a couple of weeks with the likes of Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu among others. He would then take a break before returning, sources said.
MS Dhoni has not played international cricket since India’s semi-final exit from the 2019 World Cup where they were defeated by New Zealand.
Dhoni was at the receiving end of criticism from fans and experts for his lack of intent in the semifinal. MS Dhoni took a sabbatical soon after the World Cup to serve the Indian Army, however, the 37-year-old did not return to the national side thereafter.
Though Dhoni was not playing cricket, he was always making news in different ways. He once rode to the Ranchi stadium in his swanky new SUV – the Nissan Jonga to meet his India teammates during the South Africa series.
