The much-anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott’s Gladiator has unveiled its first-look photos, featuring Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal in prominent roles.
The film continues the story with Mescal as Lucius, the son of Lucilla, now grown up, and Pascal as a formidable Roman general named Acacius.
The plot will explore Lucius’s estranged relationship with his mother and the disruptions in his life caused by invading forces.
The cast also includes notable actors like Denzel Washington as a wealthy former slave and Joseph Quinn, as co-emperor Caracalla, adding depth to this epic saga.
Connie Nielsen and Derek Jacobi reprise their roles from the original film.
