JEE Main 2021 result: Bihar’s Vaibhav Vishal secured number one rank in the country
Vaibhav Vishal of Bihar was ranked first in the nation in the JEE Main 2021 exam.
Vaibhav Vishal of Bihar made history on Wednesday (September 15) by achieving All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a perfect score in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2021, despite having attempted the exam twice this year.
Pal Aggarwal, a 17-year-old girl from Ghaziabad, earned 100 percentile and shared the all-India rank (AIR) 1 with 17 other students in the JEE main.
GURAMRIT Singh of MOHALI was ranked first in the country.
He received 300 out of 300 points and shared first place with 18 other students.
Another Bihar topper, Kumar Satyadarshi (AIR 11) from Begusarai, has got 100 percentile, while Richa Kumari has won the female category with 99.884 percentile.
“My goal is to get into IIT-computer Bombay’s science programme.
“Every day, I answer as many question papers and practise papers as I can,” Vaibhav told one of the English daily.
Satyadarshi from Pokharia in Begusarai, on the other hand, told English daily, “I am extremely pleased that my hard effort paid off.”
When I was in Class 10, I began concentrating on the JEE test.
Following the completion of the Class 10 board exam, I relocated to Kota to prepare for the JEE.
After the COVID-induced confinement, I went home and concentrated only on my schoolwork.
I used the lockdown period to my advantage, devoting the majority of my time to self-study.”
NTA held the JEE (Main) Examination for BE/ BTech in four sessions: February, March, July, and August/September.
The examination followed the whole Covid procedure.
According to the NTA, 9,39,008 applicants took the BE/BTech test.
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, NTA held JEE Main four times starting in February, and the best result from the four examinations was used to calculate the final merit for JEE Main this year.
On Wednesday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the All India rankings of candidates who took the JEE Main 2021 test.
The JEE Main 2021 Session 4 rank preparation list was based on a new methodology and includes results from all sessions.
Tie-breaking factors are used to determine the rank of students who have the same score.
One of the factors used to determine the rank has been dropped: age.
Students with the lowest negatives are considered first, followed by those with the highest positives in math, physics, and chemistry.
Vaibhav passed the test on his second try, ranking 1,762 in the former and 1,700th in the latter.
“I was dissatisfied with my ranking last year, so I decided to try again.
To improve my grades, I changed my study approach and resorted to hard review and practise exams.
I attempted three Mains exams in 2021.
“On the first two attempts, I got about 98 percentile, and in the third,
I got a flawless 100,” he told an English daily.
The JEE Main results for the fourth and final session are now available at jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.
A total of 44 pupils received a 100 percentile score, with 18 achieving rank 1.
