1-BJP releases the first list of candidates for the Telangana elections in 2023 and nominates T Raja from Goshamahal
The first list of 52 candidates for the Telangana Assembly elections, scheduled for November 30, was revealed by the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday. While MLA T Raja Singh plans to run from Goshamahal,
Members of Parliament Soyam Bapu Rao, Arvind Dharmapuri, and Bandi Sanjay Kumar have been fielded from Boath, Koratla, and Karimnagar, respectively.
2-Actor Dalip Tahil was given a two-month prison term for drunk driving.
Dalip Tahil, an actor best known for his roles in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Baazigar, and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, was given a two-month prison term for hit-and-run driving while under the influence of alcohol in 2018.
According to Live Mint, a magistrate’s court found Dalip Tahil guilty based on the doctor’s testimony, which revealed that Tahil had an odor of alcohol on him and dilated pupils.
The actor declined to give a blood sample for an alcohol test when he was detained in 2018.
3-The BJP lifts the suspension of Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh ahead of the Telangana elections
In order for MLA T Raja Singh to fight for the Goshamahal assembly seat in the upcoming Telangana assembly elections, the BJP has lifted his suspension. Singh was let go for making disparaging remarks about the Prophet Muhammad.
He had criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samithi administration for allowing an open-mic act to appear in Hyderabad. Singh had been advised not to participate in the election unless his suspension was restored. He was the only MLA elected for the BJP in 2018.
