Revanth Reddy Highlights Vision for Rising Telangana

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Aims to Make Hyderabad a Pollution-Free City

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced plans to develop a “Future City” as the fourth city in Hyderabad, aimed at competing with major cities around the world. Speaking at the CII National Council Meeting held at the CII Green Business Centre, the Chief Minister outlined his vision to transform Hyderabad into a pollution-free city. He emphasized that his dream is to elevate Telangana as a “Rising Telangana” through strategic development.

The Chief Minister highlighted that Hyderabad is being prepared to tackle natural disasters. He expressed plans to make the city flood-free and explained that new radial roads connecting the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR) will soon be constructed.

He further added that the region between the ORR and RRR will be developed as a hub for the manufacturing sector. The government is placing a strong focus on skill development and job creation, he said.

Revanth Reddy noted that since Telangana does not have a coastal area, a dry port is being established to support industrial growth. He invited companies to invest in the state, assuring that remarkable opportunities can be created.

In a move towards sustainable urban mobility, the Chief Minister revealed plans to introduce 3,200 electric buses into the RTC fleet to reduce pollution. Additionally, he mentioned that registration and road tax have been waived for electric vehicles to encourage their use.
