Former US President Donald Trump, who is campaigning for the elections, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt. A bullet intended for Trump’s head grazed his ear, avoiding a fatal injury.
The assailant, Thomas Crooks, was immediately neutralized by the Secret Service after the incident occurred.
However, it has come to light that some eyewitnesses had alerted the police about the person who fired at Trump beforehand, but the police failed to respond appropriately.
Prominent film director Ram Gopal Varma shared an interesting video related to this on social media.
The video shows scenes of the assailant preparing for the attack from a building while Trump’s meeting was in progress. Some attendees at the event noticed the assailant.
Commenting on the video, Varma tweeted that everyone except the Secret Service agents saw the assailant who came to kill Donald Trump.
